For me giving is such a key part of what we need to be doing, not just me, but all of us in our communities. When we kicked off the Gratitude Giving Program in October it isn’t just a way for me or you to give but it’s a way for us to engage with one another to make a difference.
November & December with the spirit of the holidays we are basing our gratitude giving all on food pantries. Our kitchen where we bake is in the basement of the Senior Services of NKY which just so happens to also run a food pantry on Thursdays. We are collecting canned goods at our 801 Holiday Pop Up for them, or you can drop them off directly to the Senior Services or our kitchen if that is easier.
Maybe you aren’t local or don’t have time to drop off anything then the challenge for you is to drop off something close by or take a dish to a neighbor in need.
In gratitude and giving thank you for helping us make a difference!
Rachel
